Our days are His ...

A devotional site to help and encourage believers and those seeking to find light and life for their lives. Through God's great love, we are saved by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ and it is in Him that we find light and life (John 1:4). "See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!" (1 John 3:1 NIV) All our days are His.

Verse of the Day

There is something about grace...

The grace of Jesus Christ does in a moment, what all our efforts cannot do in an eternity. srm

A note ...

As this blog has evolved and as so many posts have been added ... I have started to quote more and more from The King James Version (KJV). It is not that I favor this version over any other but The King James Version is in public domain. Most other versions of the Bible are copyrighted and each publisher has specific rules in quoting from their Bibles. So I am trying to be careful in that regard as to not overextend the right to quote from a specific version and thus I quote less frequently from those versions. Other versions I use, include: The 21st Century King James Version (KJ21), The English Standard Version (ESV), The New International Version (NIV), The New Living Translation (NLT), The Message, The Living Bible (TLB) and The New American Standard Bible (NASB). You are welcome to quote the material in this blog for non-commercial use with proper notations. You may use the photographs in the same way. For other inquiries, please contact me directly.
