The blessings of God come in all of our days.

"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose (Romans 8:28 NIV).
What all does our salvation encompass?  In our daily lives, is our salvation,  just a ticket to heaven or is it an ever present strength and refuge for our hearts and souls?  Where does it come from, so to speak and  how does it relate to our living?  How is it that people who are affluent in a material sense, sometimes they feel inadequate when they look deep in their heart and soul?  At the same time, how is it that some that are desperately poor, can look deep in their hearts and soul and find that the only thing they crave is a deeper relationship with the God that transcends the bleakness of their circumstances?  Our relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord enables us to face sickness, or difficulties knowing that we more than our own strengths to carry us through those rough spots. In fact our salvation becomes real and significant at the moments of crisis but is there more to it than even being important at those moments.  Something comes through those times, mercy flows, grace empowers and we find the true blessings we desperately seek in our hearts and souls. God comes in all the days of our lives and He brings mercy and grace as blessings, whenever He comes.

The blessings we cling to, the blessings that empower us and the blessings that fill us come through many events, moments and even seasons in our lives but they always come from one source.  The source of all blessing is a gracious and loving Father, His redeeming and shepherding Son and His ever present Spirit surrounding us with love and grace.  Life can be incredibly short, frail, battered by events and evil and marked by my inadequacies but my salvation in the LORD is secure, powerful, transcendent and ever present stronghold in the midst of all that I face throughout my life.  God’s help, faithfulness and deliverance is really beyond words. Be thankful, be so very thankful that God never forsakes us and blesses us beyond what any of us deserve. Be so thankful that God works in the evil, the pain and hopelessness bringing good, healing and hope.  In all that we experience, He brings blessings.   It is an incredible relationship we have with our loving Father in heaven and it is also a constant refuge for the heart and soul.

"The salvation of the righteous is from the LORD; He is their strength in the time of trouble"
(Psalm 37:39).
