What a precious thing it is to call upon the name of the
Lord? It is the name that we call upon
to be saved (Romans 10:13) and it is the name we call upon many times for
healing, strength, peace and understanding. He is the one that hears and comes
to us. What an amazing thing to be loved in such a way.
“My God, my strength in whom I will trust; my shield and the
horn of my salvation, my stronghold. I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy
to be praised and so shall I be saved from my enemies” (Psalm 18:2-3 NKJV).
